About

Edwin Miller. Operator first.

Six-time chief executive of public, private-equity-backed and venture-funded technology companies, eight-time director, and the builder of an agentic AI platform. (i)Sage brings that record to private equity sponsors and corporate leadership teams.

Profile

Builds as well as governs.

Edwin has spent two decades leading technology companies through inflection points. At Marchex (Nasdaq: MCHX) he authored the strategy that repositioned a declining call-analytics business as AI-driven prescriptive vertical analytics, consolidated five acquired companies onto one platform, and delivered the company’s first profitable year since 2013. Before that he scaled Astreya Partners to 11× enterprise value across 33 countries, converted Everest Software’s 3,000 customers to the cloud ahead of its sale to Versata, and returned Infodata Systems to profit with no outside capital before an all-cash sale.

He has sat on every side of the table: public-company CEO answering to a board, director on eight boards, advisor to the chief executive and executive chairman of two Nasdaq companies, and operating executive at Gemspring Capital underwriting management teams in diligence. Through (i)Sage he has also raised and closed a $23M venture fund.

His operating method blends multi-move strategic foresight with pragmatic execution: define the economic engine, modernize the stack, concentrate capital where the return curves are steepest, and measure relentlessly — with explicit cadence rituals so the organization keeps pace with the change.

AI advice from someone who has shipped it.

Edwin architected and built TheGreyMatter.ai himself — writing the prompts, designing the data model and paying for the mistakes. At Marchex he shipped agentic AI into the core product; the Engage Platform was named AI Agent Product of the Year in 2025. The result is advice that can tell an AI strategy from an AI press release.
