The patent
The patent covers a system that connects to a company’s data sources, maps what it collects onto a structured model of the business — a schema of components and sub-components, such as the 9 Vectors — and presents the result in an interface where every finding can be traced back to the source data behind it.
A diagnostic decides which parts of the model matter for the question being asked and drives what data is gathered; a weighting engine governs how that data is mapped to the model. The result is a consistent, evidence-linked picture of business performance rather than a one-off analysis.
The framework
The 9 Vectors schema — nine vectors, 37 Sub-Vectors, 571 themes — is protected by copyright through Edwin Miller’s published books.
